Field Superintendant

The Field Superintendent oversees the efficient execution of drilling activities to ensure operations run smoothly. Responsible for ensuring proper use and maintenance of equipment. The main contact for in country liaison with the oil company and contractors off location.

Ensure the safety of all operatives, while manage drilling operations in order to maximize return on drilling expenditure
Manage recruitment and performance of all drilling and associated personnel
Schedule and co-ordinate all applicable resources
Participate and recommend selection of contractors and service companies
Aid in development of SOP, JSA, and maintenance programs as well as enforce those safety and environmental policies
Encourage continuous improvement and aid in rig design optimization
Ensure all documentation is filled out as per company policy
Manage daily activities of drilling operations in accordance with company management systems and legislation
Monitor drilling parameters to support drilling operation
Direct drilling operation problem solving
Manage cost control within limits of authority
Provide clear stewardship reporting on an as required and exceptions basis to Company and Operations Manager
Reports directly and is assessed / appraised by the Operations Manage Works closely with the Client Project technical Leader / Manager WSTL
All Rig Managers report to and are assessed / appraised by the Field
Superintendent
Works closely with the HSE Department to ensure all HSE Policies, and operational Procedures are strictly adhered to
Works closely with Engineering & Maintenance Departments to ensure the
Preventative Maintenance program is strictly adhered to
Works closely with the Procurement, Logistics & Inventory Manager to ensure optimal supply chain management is maintained to support his operations
Attend morning and with Client representatives in Aramco office at least weekly
Attend Weekly conference calls with corporate office when on duty
complete daily KSA summary report
Observe all company health, safety and environmental instructions, act in a safe manner and avoid unnecessary risks to themselves and others
Immediately report any unsafe conditions or activities, dangerous occurrences, or injuries in the workplace
Not interfere with, remove, displace or make ineffective any safeguard, safety device, equipment or appliance provided for health, safety and environmental purposes
Assist new employees in the use of relevant work procedures and practices to ensure their safety and the safety of all employees
Aid in the process of bringing new employees into the project
Main contact for contractor and operatives to the office

Valid passport and ability to travel Internationally
Access to international airport
Microsoft Office Suite familiarity

Rig Manager

The Rig Manager is responsible for every aspect of the rig operations, including set up, take down and moving, along with the safety of all crew members. The Rig Manager is responsible for daily paperwork and other matters of business pertaining to the Rig. The Rig Manager ensures that the rig operations comply with the environmental and government regulations as well as regulation the production and costs therein. When the Field Superintendent is not on location everyone will report to this individual.

Responsible for key decision-making regarding rig operations from start up to take down, and
ensure high standards are met and maintained
Manage daily rig activity to include, but not limited to, crew scheduling, supply maintenance, safety
training, personnel issues, etc.
Ensure all rig operations are carried out in compliance with policies and procedures while
adhering to any state and/or federal regulations.
As needed, actively contribute to all management and operational meetings.
Ensure rig staffing levels are maintained appropriately to ensure project is completed safely,
timely and within budget.
Ensure rig crews’ competences are developed and maintained and train and/or coach rig
employees as needed.
Regularly monitor critical inventories and equipment and coordinate with appropriate
department(s) or vendors for movement of materials and supplies when required.
Liaise with appropriate regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with legislative and industry
requirements.
Perform emergency responsibilities as per emergency procedures.
Ensure the successful completion of all preventative maintenance activities and major repairs to guarantee efficient drilling and minimize downtime on the rig.
Maintains on-site inventories and issues material requests to the Field Superintendent to ensure that all necessary materials and components are available to mitigate interruptions in operations

Updates forecast and plans activity to anticipate resource requirements to meet well demands and provide optimum efficiency of serv
Organizes and chairs pre-job meetings (operations and safety).

Be accountable for the safe operation of Company and contract personnel, efficient and productive use of supplies, and proper maintenance, upkeep and repair of the rig and support equipment.
Adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
Ensure that personal behaviors and work practices are in line with Company safety standards.
Provide visible leadership engagement, be aware of housekeeping and take additional safety
precautions to ensure no one is put at risk.
Ensure all incidents are reported and appropriately investigated in accordance with Company
procedure.

Rig Mechanic

The Rig Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance and field repair of all machinery and mechanical equipment on the rig.

Driller

This position requires the supervision of the crews that perform different tasks on the oil rig according to the regulations of the oil company, making sure that the work of the crew follows all company policies as well as enforcing rules regarding safety and PPE requirements. A Driller must constantly verify the equipment and record the data into a log. Most importantly, the Driller is responsible for the equipment and the safety of his crew members during all operations.

To demonstrate and promote safety leadership and to ensure that the crew works in the safest possible manner
To lead and direct the crew in fulfilling their designated duties
To plan and conduct activities to meet the highest applicable standard of international oilfield practice
To monitor and adjust the drilling parameters and take those necessary actions to optimize the drilling process and safeguard the integrity of the well
To work constructively with the Operator’s representative and with third party service companies to contribute to collaborative working relationships at the rig site
To take immediate remedial action in the event of an incipient or actual emergency or incident
To advise the Rig Manager and Operator’s representative of any issues as appropriate
Apply safety policies and practices in rig operations and act as a role model to other crew members
Conduct and record Toolbox Talks for the rig crew and achieve the participation and contribution of crew members Keep records of Toolbox Safety Talks
Conduct safety inspections of rig equipment and hold training drills as directed by Rig Manager
Plan the days operations and conduct pre-job briefings or J.S.A.’s for the crew on activities
Operate the rig equipment within its designed parameters in a manner to optimize the drilling process and associated activities
Conduct visual, and where possible functional, inspections of equipment both prior to use and at periodic intervals
Supervise the Assistant Driller in control and recording of mud Keep accurate BHA Worksheet records of the drill string including details of equipment run in-hole
Accurately complete tour sheet
Ensure that the rig crew conduct and record their assigned tasks in the rig Planned Maintenance
Coordinate training for local staff

Assistant Driller

The Assistant Driller is responsible for executing the drilling program within BHIO, Lynchpin and Aramco policies, also to supervise, instruct, and train the remaining crew under his direct supervision. They assist the Rig Manager and Driller with a seamless flow between task on location, while ensuring the highest level of QHSE is maintained. Assistant Drillers have the experience and ability to confidently sit in for the Diller in the doghouse during low-risk operations as the need arises with general direction.

Electrician

The position involves the maintenance and repair of rig instrumentation, control and electrical systems. Initially the role will include the assembly, troubleshooting and commissioning of the drilling rig prior to deployment of the rig to the field. Once the rig is deployed to the field the role will transition to a long -term international rotational assignment.
